We’re excited to introduce Launch Collection V: The First Mint.
The First Mint (TFM) is the leading sports and NFT podcast. The pod really hit a stride during the Top Shot Mania, climbing global charts while building a strong, active community through it.
The co-host, LG Doucet comes from decades of experience in film and video production, running a commercial film studio for years and working with leading teams like Red Bull.
We were fortunate enough to connect months ago, and both were fired up to release TFM episodes onchain.
Fast forward to today, we’re excited to introduce The First Mint community to Pods. The community is already actively collecting sports moments on Top Shot – and now they can collect the podcasts that helped them through their crypto journey.
LG spent weeks thinking about the collection episodes.
After much deliberation, The First Mint’s Launch Collection includes:
The collection features some prominent guests, including Daryl Morey – the president of the 76ers – along with the biggest TopShot collectors like WhaleShark and Dingaling.
You’ll also notice that the collection features six episodes in total.
TFM elected to release the first episode ever – and granted it to a special community member. This is the first ever 1/1 episode on Pods.
If you’re sad you missed out on this special rewards, there’s good news…
The First Mint crew not only curated an elite collection, but they’ve also tailored a unique rewards program for their audience. There’s a range of prizes for collectors and various actions:
The rundown is:
All collectors get a role in Discord
Full set holders earn a raffle ticket for a Victor Wembanyama moment ($250 value)
Top non-allowlist collector earns a Day One Pass ($200 value)
Top 3 overall collectors will get shoutouts on episodes in 2024 (invaluable)
This is the fifth Launch Collection on Pods.
We’ve been beyond grateful for all of the support over the past two months since we went live.
We have a couple more launch collections planned to the end of the year.
A hint for the next one?
Public Goods.
We’ll see you soon.
